Neighborhood
Trget is a fishing village situated in Raša Bay. Its name derives from the Croatian word ‘trgetarenje’ (latin: traiectum), which means ‘transport of people and goods from one side of the bay to the other’. Raša Bay is more than 6 miles (12km) long, half a mile (1km) wide and up to 44m deep. It is known for its large fish and shellfish resources and its beautiful hidden pebble beaches surrounded by mediterranean vegetation.
