Novi Vinodolski is a town located in Kvarner Riviera of the Adriatic Coast between Crikvenica to its north-west and Senj to its south-east. The town faces the island of Krk, which is located to its south-west. In the center of the town, there is Frankopan Kastel (XIII century) with corner towers and internal courtyard. In 1288. famous Glagolitic "Vinodol Code" was adopted in the kastel. The "Vinodol Code" is a significant historical document of Croatian case law. Above the port there are the remains of Pauline monastery. In the town museum, in addition to archaeological and historical-cultural, there is also a collection of Vinodol costumes.
