Lumbarda is surrounded by a picturesque landscape of indented coastline which is decorated by sandy beaches, the crystal clear sea, scents of Mediterranean and vineyards plants, olives. It is situated on the eastern cape of the forested island of Korčula, and only 6 km from the ancient town of Korčula. There are about twenty islands scattered in front of Lumbarda, among which the most famous are Badija and Vrnik, popular swimming areas for many tourists, and in the village itself there are two wonderful beaches - Bilin žal and Vela Pržina. The archeological monuments, old castles and churches bear witness to the rich history of this village, and the varied gastronomic offer, healthy homemade food, folklore and entertainment programme enrich the tourist offer.
