Ljubač is a coy small settlement in the region of Zadar. Yet, heading towards the island Pag, the bay of Ljubač is the first sea sight and it takes a breath away. The bay is surrounded by groves and vegetation, olive orchards and vineyards. Ljubač has about 200 houses, stiffed in the old center, built in typical Mediterranean style. The curiosity about Ljubač is that there are just a dozen of vacation houses belonging to people who are not born here nor related with natives. There are about 450 people living there. Most of them work in 15 kilometers distanced Zadar, charming and vivid Dalmatian town with 3000 years of history. Some rent their cozy apartments due to the growing tourist demand. Accommodation is modern and comfortable, apartments with little terraces facing towards the sea and the sun are bathed in cricket song and cooling breeze in hot summer afternoons. Ljubač is the peaceful and tame village with sandy beaches suitable for holidays with little children. The mild climate conditions and shallow sea at few hundreds of meters long beach, allow bathing and sunbathing from April till October. Frontiers of the beach are marked with healing black mud, which has beneficial features for rheumatic and arthritis. Within the reach of 100 kilometers there are even three National Parks: Kornati 25 kilometers away, Plitvice Lakes 100 kilometers away and the River Krka is 70 kilometers away.
