Komarna is a small tourist place in southern Dalmatia, situated between Dubrovnik and Split, near Klek (3km). There is an excellent view of the Peljesac peninsula from all over the place. Komarna is a quiet and safe place, away from the main road. The population of Komarna is engaged with agriculture, fishing and mainly tourism, so Komarna has a large offer of private accommodation. Komarna and nearby tourist resorts offers a large number of local taverns (konoba), restaurants, bars, night clubs and shops. In the restaurant "Villa Bili" and in tavern "Komarna" which are in the Komarna, you can enjoy the delicious dishes of Dalmatian cuisine ... seafood, shellfish, prosciutto, cheese, wine and olive oil. Basic groceries can be bought in a store located in the center of the village. Large shopping centers and supermarkets can be found in Opuzen (7 km), Metkovic (16 km) or Neum (5 km).
