Neighborhood
Old Town is the historic heart of the island is located on the western part of the bay bottom Starogrojske. Built on the site where the deep Gulf turns into the island's fertile soil of the field to be planted vineyards and olive groves since ancient times. The old town is said to Pharos and because of its rich history and is the oldest city in Croatia that the ancient Greeks from the island of Paros founded and named it Pharos. Centuries was a haven for seafarers, sailors and today is where the city's old bay popular place frequented by sailing the Adriatic.
